Is it possible that my resolution settings are off? I usually keep the resolution at 16 Bit, and I set my resolution higher just now to test it, and the higer I set it (32 Bit) the more the gradieant becomes sectioned. Heck, if you're seeing it fine, then I'm not complaining. I just wish I knew you could see it fine. sorry to trouble you. Thanks anyway... Aharon
I thought so too, bonestructure, but the problem is that in photoshop it looks perfect!!! I render it in bryce - it has the gradient. I import it into Photoshop - It looks perfect (Technically speaking, not artisticly). I export it from photshop in every format Highest quality, and it comes out with a gradient. But if you can't see it, maybe its the settings on my computer. I also see the gradient problem on my work computer.
well, I'd say zoon in, and blur the area around the sun, whether you can see it or not. In the size photo you have here, it goes out about an ince from the edge of the sun. I'd say use the blur tool to blue all the area inside that and then export it to psp or whatever you have to see if that solves the problem
Talent is God's gift to you. Using it is your gift to God.
I had the same problem with my Wing II banner. Color banding in Bryce, which didn't show up in any other graphics program, but did when I uploaded it! I think the problem is that I didn't save it as a high-enough quality JPEG, because when I saved it again at highest possible quality, it looked a lot better. Try saving Crash Site at highest quality level, and see if it still is funky.
