You see TEX maps DO work just not REFLECTION maps! This is what happens when I apply one, no matter what color I make the ambient, highlight or object. WHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHYWHY!!!! O.K. now that I let that out, please help:) thanks

How do I do that?

Now you've confused me. Nothing looks mapped to me at all. Let alone Reflect mapped. Do something obvious with the texture map. Like a checker board or somthing. The arm doesn't even look mapped. I think we need a bit more to look at than a black hammer and a default flesh tone applied to the models. Hope we can get this worked out for you soon. James

OK, I really don't know why you're having problems. I thought (like others) that it had to be UV Mapped. NOT true. Here is a quicky I threw together. the shape is just a sloppy lathe, so don't look at it as anything of beauty. I just wanted to show you that it SHOULD work. One is a DXF. Which contains absolutly NO UV info at all. And it still worked. Then it's rendered whith everything default. Lighting etc. wierdhammer.jpg James
