Subject: 3DS Import to Poser 4

I don't recall having this problem when I used Poser 3, but with Poser 4 I cannot get an imported 3ds character to rotate around the y axis properly. I can get it to tilt sideways (left/right), but trying to get it to rotate front-side-back resuts in tumbling head over heels instead. I tried all combinations of shifting the xyz axis to no avail. Help, please.

Intel Core I7 3090K 4.5 GhZ (overclocked) 12-meg cache CPU, 32 Gig DDR3 memory, GeoForce GTX680 2gig 256 Bit PCI Express 3.0 graphic card, 3 Western Difgital 7200 rpm 1 Tb SATA Hard Drives

A quick-and-dirty solution is to parent the imported object to a prop (e.g. a ball) and rotate the prop. The prop can be deleted once the imp. object is in place (or set to invisible, if you plan handle the object again in the future). Have fun.
