Is it just my computer or is anyone else having trouble with Renderosity pages loading slow this morning?

My idea of rebooting is kicking somebody in the butt twice!

not slow for me...:>) but earlier, what I would call the middle of the night ...I couldn't access them at all...may be the same glitch...

I'm on a cable connection so I forgot what slow was. :-) The Poser Hot20 won't load at all. Oh well, guess it's too early to be here anyway.

It was sloooow about an hour ago, yes. Right now it seems kinda ok to me, so.. No, not just you. :o)

Very slow, they just threw a bunch of people off (down from 1340-ish to 1280-ish) but now it's back up to 1420. It's not school holidays yet, is it?

RHaseltine, I think that depends on WHERE you live :o) Here in Denmark school holidays has just begun (and mine too, wheeeee) There IS a lot of people online, considering the time of the day.

Pretty slow here. I even got "Host not found" a couple of times. To my big relief, now the forum page loaded.

I've had a hard time until just about 15 minutes ago (9:30 am US East Coast time) I couldn't get any of my galleries to load nor access my IMs...seems to have cleared up for me now though. My guess would be they are still tweaking...

It's better for me now too. Our schools let out for the summer the end of May...I noticed a big increase in online members at about that same time. :-)

Monday mornings are always bad in the west. The hang up is transfering from the market place. Once I get past that the pages load. Figure that one out.

I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.

Glad you brought that up Rockets - I was about to call my ISP - taking me forever to view the Poser Galleries :[ I am sure it has something to do with the Site Upgrades and will be zooming along shortly :) ladynimue

When they redid the site, the new pull-down boxes all call the same "indexprocess" script. So, with 1600+ people hitting that same script, it's bound to be slower than just clicking the HTML link.

at 1602 users right now, it's slow as molasses on my cable modem, I am playing Spider solitaire while the forum pages load, arrgh!! I can live with the new colors, but the speed.....

I really don't think it has to do with the number of members online. I've been on when there've been almost 2000 and didn't have a problem with the speed. I agree with ladynimue that it's probably some tweaking going on. :-)

Been slow on and off since yesterday night. I asumed it would be a router somewhere at first, but seeing who else has problem it would be unlikly. Also considering that all other webpages that would use the same router are loading quickly as normal. So I guess it's safe to asume "men at work" Cheers, Axe

I'm on a T1, and still it sucks, they've moved the # of people online etc. too. Still look like sh.. You know what! Ah well, check this out, V cool site, Graphic intensive but far faster than here :P

It's slow getting to Ireland, too... no doubt more 'minor layout changes' going on, or something. Sure it'll be back to normal soon!

It has been slow allll day for me - really slow - I am in the UK and started to visit the galleries at about 9am BST this morning. It is now almost 5:30pm BST and slower than ever... I am pretty sure it is just some glitches here because everywhere else is running as normal for me.

It's grindingly slow right now for me, in California on DSL. So slow that my browser keeps timing out, which is very annoying. Getting a connection to any of my ebot messages in my mail was impossible....And Rochr, one of my very, very favorite artists has a new image posted, too :(

I have a cable modem, and live in Atlanta...I can't do searches say SQL server is full & various other computer blab...would like to do some shopping....ARRRGGHHHHH. I feel like I'm back in the 28k days...geesh. Oh well, will grit my teeth & "try" to be patient. LOL Debby
