Subject: Poser simply hates me!

Ok, I am now positive that poser hates me. Awhile back I posted about my problem rendering large images that suddenly popped up out of the blue. I still have that problem on occasion. Now there is a new issue!! The other day I worked on an image and saved the pz3 as usual. Later I decided to re-open it and render it larger but the scene was all wrong. The character was in the default position and other things were wrong as well. I thought "oh great I must have forgotten to save... Well I didn't forget to save! Last night I worked a few hours on a scene setup, by the time I was finished it was midnight so I went to bed. This morning I opened the scene and ARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH it is all wrong!! The character is default posed and centered - in fact every item in the scene is centered! The clothing I spent som much time fitting to Roxanne - centered and not fitting either, extras - wings antennae - floating above her - centered. Even the lighting is wrong - and it's not the default poser lighting or even my default lighting. So what in the world is up with it now??!

The only time that happened to me (so far) was when I managed to set a scene in the middle of an animation sequence (don't ask....I wasn't doing animation). When I clicked a few slides past the first one, my scene came back to me. Why it was in the middle of a sequence of 30, I don't know, but there it was. Poser has a mind of its own, doesn't it? Unfortunately, sometimes it seems deranged.

LOL I just came back in here to say that was exactly what happened! Istarted looking at my pz3 files in program edit andsaw the movie info (I've never looked at the pz3s before to be honest and I didn't know that was in there) and then it clicked. I know how mine was set. With Roxanne if you want to adjust the strength of the faces you apply them on frame 30 and then work down to adjust the strength. Which I had done before doing a bit more customizing, both images that did this had Roxanne that I had adjusted. I fixed the image - ~whew~

You know, it is really Roxanne. She has this mischievous little personality which compels her to tinker with your Poser settings. You just can't keep her out of trouble. ;) Glad you got it fixed, :) Beth
