Subject: Morph Dail-1 Results-0

Here's a new problem in Poser, for me. the setup: Got Mike 2, twisting morph dials around, making a new character; emaciated, yet muscular. The figure changes accordingly. The Problem: Time goes by, renders finish and I want to adjust the morphs again, this time not so muscular or more emaciated. I turn the dial and nothing happens. Belly In, Belly Out, doesn't matter if it is set to 1.00 or 21.00, no result. And yet, I can still change Face morphs like closing eyes, etc. Does this sound familiar to anyone? I can still pose the character etc. There is no Lock. The Body morphs just don't work. Any ideas out there? Thanks deci6el Mac G4 733mHz 640meg RAM

Do you have another figure in the scene which might be causing crosstalk?

cross-talk? ooh, I thought I heard someone use that word in this Forum but I always associate it with audio, or wiring. So, yeah, there is another Mike2 character with no morphs dialed into him. In the character list they have diferent names but are you saying Poser gets confused? BTW, I'm using PPP 4.2.1 on a Mac.

This just in... With the other Mike character gone, the problem still continues.

Try turning the part dial, not the full-body dial, that always works. Of course you have to turn them all, and all the same amount. Poser can get confused many times on who is in charge, Full Body Morphs are supposed to be run by the figure itself, but sometimes another figure or even the clothing can take them over, in effect lock them. The only way I know to fix this is start over, and restart Poser before you do anything, then always open the figure first, then clothing, if there is only one figure in the scene. If there is more than one try the Null loader, but that doesn't always work for me either.
