Hello,

there is a new tutorial at my website. Video QT format.
It's about 'time filters'. The trick you'll show is using 2 keys for pans...

PS : and there is a new animation too; called 'Diaporama'. :-)

Thanks Phoul! I'll be checking it out tonight when I get home. Is it downloadble? I've tried many times to save your animations because I enjoy them, but I am not able to do that from your site; I can only wait while it loads and watch it online. I've got a folder reserved for renderosity movie clips because I like to see what others are doing, but have not been able to collect any of yours, which I admire. Not being able to save a tutorial would be espeially bad. You do nice work. :)

philippe, could you explain the purpose of the tutorial ? i saw it this morming but didn't understand the meaning of it. Thanks Laurent

Finally, we could say it is not a tutorial. I am not a good teacher indeed.
It was just a trick. I mean a way to show you how I could make something....
In fact, I don't know how to tell more than Vue Manuel's tutorials. They are great. I learnt with them.
Well... may be, I'll try again, later.

YES!!! That explains one of the things that I was missing! By having the path, timeline, and filter windows open at the same time, you can see and generate custom spline results as you alter the camera motion on the path! Thank you! That one goes into the cheat notes folder for study and experimentation. Where's that Yanni CD at! :)

Thanks Philippe:-). My problem is only that I cannot see the details (or I need to bring the resolution of my computer down?). Guitta

what format are those clips in? the page opens the new window when viewing the videos, but nothing ever pops up. you'd might want to add the format of the videos to the pages so that people can check whether they have just the right codec -there are many of them out there;)

Hilt, if you have QuickTime, the video should show up coorrectly. (I think it is MOV ???)

Make sure it is QT 6; that is what Philippe uses. Now back to the experiment of making animated rain with forester's Real Rain package....

I experienced a 60gigs HD-crash few days back. Ever since I've spent my days trying to get all the applications and codecs back to another hard disk. I have the latest QT too. Guess I should head back to tune those MIMEs again:) thanks for the replies, Hilt
