Thank you all, When I first came to Renderosity I have to admit at being more than a little intimidated by the quality of the work here. I saw images that blew me away, and I wondered if I could ever even come close! Today I'm celebrating because I have a number 1 picture in the Vue hot 20! I never imagined that this would ever happen, let alone happen within my first few months here. The main reason behind this post is not just to thank you all for voting for my image, not by a long shot! It's to thank you all for pushing me to where I am right now. Everyday I look forward to seeing the new images that arrive... and from them I learn! I have recieved an unbelievable amount of help from everyone I have sent a personal message to, often in the form of personal email and in one case a full tutorial!!! There are so many talented people here at Renderosity, and my hat off to you all... Thank you Steve.

Hey Steve, you shouldn't be so surprised :) That image is simply fantastic. It got # 1 because that's the place it should be in! Keep on doing such great work. eran

Gosh, that's exactly how I felt when I ventured into this place. The Vue gallery, in particular, is just staggering. Your image is just lovely and deserves that top spot. It is the high standard that pushes me as well. I want to create at that level and can only do that because of the existing high standard and by pushing myself all the time!!

Congrats on your #1. You deserve it. I can definately relate to your feelings towards renderosity. My own experience is short and escalating. It is great to be both inspired and challanged with the other fantastic artists that submit to this site. There is a continuous stream of fine art appearing all the time. Minutes of fame are short but incredibly enriching. Continue to do as you have, push forward and acheive more. Again... Congrats.
