Just something I wrote one night not too long ago. A brief look into the sometimes insane life of MythicalDamienne.... During the day, she smiles. Watch her move through the crowd- A toss of head, a shrug of shoulder All life's cares vanished Within the twinkling of sapphire eyes. Listen to her words of wisdom- Feel the comfort of her embrace Look for her to be there for you... For she is. During the night, she cries. You cannot watch her steps falter as she walks alone- Head lowering, shoulders heavy beneath the weight she bears Life's burdens rising with fury- Tears flood grieviously from sapphire eyes. Listen to her weeping Feel the hunger to be embraced and loved again-- Look for her to fade away one day... For she will.

Nice balance of contrasts in a carefully constructed piece. Most enjoyable.

Nicely worded aliteration of the masks of public vs. private persona.

This was sad,but very well done. For me,I think you did a very good job of showing the drastic differences that occur when those who are rocks for other people are alone. Thank you for the glimpse.

Like a reflection in a pool of water. I like your style.

Very moving - left me with the urge to reach out, give her a motherly hug, and encourage her to be more genuine in her public face. Perhaps then, her nights would not be so desolate...perhaps she would find truly compassionate friends, not just those who admire the packaging without interest in the contents. Lol - sorry, great write - it really struck a chord in me!
