Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 11 12:18 am)
This IS a morph that you have done with magnets - right? Just provide the morph as deltas. Save a face pose, open it in MM4, under Other options, delete all morphs copy your morph from the cr2 into this face pose and rename it to match your character name. If you change the ( targetGeom WHATEVERYOUCALLIT ) to ( targetGeom Monkey ) it will be a morph injection face pose - if it is for V1/2. If it is a new shape derived from settings of existing morphs, save a face pose - and provide that. It is not allowed to provide a combined morph as deltas or OBJ if the you use DAZ morphs to do it with V2/ M2/ V3.
Sharing with others: If you wish to be generous and let others use your morph, just set your new dial to 1.000. Now go to the top taskbar and select, File/Export/Wavefront Obj. Next window select single frame, next window uncheck Universe and select just the figure part that the morph is for, next window name it, next window uncheck all boxes except, "As Morph Target". Now open the OBJ you just exported, in a text editor(notepad or wordpad). Delete all lines that DO NOT start with a "V"(without the quotes). Poser only needs the V lines for the morph to work.(this cuts the file size down immensely) Now others can load the figure and load your new Morph Target !

I've slaved long and hard creating a new V2 character with custom morph targets that I'd like to upload ... but I can't seem to figure out how to export the morph targets. I tried the "export" command out of the file menu, and clicked on the "as morph target" box, but even though it saves it as an .OBJ when I call up a new figure and try to import that OBJ as a new morph, it changes nothing. Am I missing a step here, or can you not export morph targets (so that, say, the head .OBJ could be uploaded, etc)
