hi, I can't figure where my textures are going.I apply them to parts and they are there, but when I link them together and create new figure from them they take off, I try applying them to the knew figure but nothing happens, it must have something toi do with parent-child linking them for all I can tell, how frustaratingAAARRRGGGHHHH!okay back to poser now......

k sorry, I should work at it more before I come crying here, I cliked change whole figure and it worked so I guess I need be using the group tool?

I'm not exactly sure what you are doing, but the textures are applied from the material area at the top--to have the texture apply to the whole model, you would click on apply to whole texture. I don't think the group tool would have anything to do with the textures, but not exactly sure what you are referring to exactly. Are you working with one model, like P4 nude woman? Diane

i'm working with model I have put togetherfrom scratch.(sometimes I'm unsure wether to post questions here or in character creators, it seems more people come here and since its all relevant...)I've been at this none stop for the last couple days so these posts I'm making probably don't make alot of sense(sorry ).I have figured out how to assign materials to different parts now and am bak at setting up joint parameters using a already made poser model as reference but the rotation orders don't match up so i think i'll be at this for a while, (I had a copy of this model with no textures but most of the joint parameters set up and than applyied all the textures to a copy without the joint parameters set up so now I'm like'which do I feel like doing all over again?AAAAAAAAAA!!)

Hmm, that's a different situation and one I'm not qualified to answer. Hopefully, someone else will see it here and answer. Diane

Wouldnt it be nice if you could save joint perimeters and other data like rotation order to disk and aply it to other figures like you can .Phy files in character studio ... maybe poser5...

Y'all have a great day.

will there be a poser5?someone had said that metacreations was discontinuing it, or is it someone else is taking it over?or neither?

Bought by a German Corp, with the program's creator, and some members of the former MC product mgt. team. They promise more to come. See: www.curiouslabs.com
