Hi, Check your account page, mine was in there although I didn't recieve an e-mail from Daz. I also think it can be used only for Daz original items, but when you get to a product page you want, it should tell you at the top of the page, above the product description, if a voucher can be used for it or not. Genny
Yes, well that's what I mean in my original post. There are no comments now on the new site. Vouchers on the old Daz site could NOT be used for brokered items. There is no warning on brokered items other than "brokered by", there is no distinction on the new site between a brokered item or a daz original other than just the comment of who made the item. my account page has the $30 voucher listed, hence the asking of the question, I want to buy some brokered items with the Voucher, but do not know if I can.
some items do state they are qualified for vouchers..and they are all DAZ originals...they also state not for Platinum Club items.. also, the email that I got had the following: **Rebate offered in the form of a DAZ Voucher good on any DAZ Original products. Voucher will be granted automatically to the accounts of all qualifying customers on July 1st, 2003 and will be valid for one month. Good only on the purchase of Mimic 2.0 Pro.

Ick - poor wording. That makes it sound like the voucher is only good for Mimic 2.0 Pro, and the only way you get the voucher is to buy Mimic 2.0 Pro. Not to be obnoxious (too late!) but I hope that there are several Daz original offerings this month to take advantage of the voucher. (Okay, I admit, I didn't have a pressing need for Mimic 2 Pro, but the voucher on top of the voucher was too much to resist.)
Yes..when I read it, even now, it sounds as if the voucher is to be used on Mimic 2 Pro.... I was at DAZ last night tring to find something to spend $30 on...actually had a hard time...most of the DAZ original items are $19+ , so $30 doesn't go very far... But its FREE $30, so its all good :) Maybe time to buy some animals instead of /VIC stuff...Looked at Anne Marie but I just can't seem to like that product for some reason...

Dear Valued Customer, Last night a $30 DAZ Voucher was placed in your account as a rebate for your recent Mimic 2.0 Pro purchase. You will find this voucher amount listed in your account profile page. If you had no previous voucher amount, you should now see a total voucher of $30 available to you. If you already had a voucher amount, it should have been increased by $30. This voucher will automatically be applied upon your next checkout when you purchase a qualifying item. This voucher is good until August 1st, 2003 (midnight). If you have any further questions of how to use your voucher, please contact us. Thank you for your purchase, we hope you enjoy using Mimic 2.0 Pro, Sales Team DAZ Productions, Inc. www.daz3d.com sales@daz3d.com NOTE: Vouchers are not valid on resell products, brokered products, or platinum club products.

yep, animals are mostly brokered now, well, the ones I really have my eye on. sigh I'm sure within the month there will be a Daz created product that I want and I'll use the voucher for that. bit disapointed with the limites of the voucher, I really had a bunch of stuff on my wishlist I was hoping to snag. oh well, it's Daz, they pretty much get my paychecks anyway.
I just got through spending (most of) mine... here's a few ideas: - Cyclorama (I didn't already have it and wouldn't have paid for it otherwise, so what the hell ;) - Flip Style Hair 2.0 upgrade (it was decent hair when it came out, now has more morphs and more reaslistic textures) - Updo Hair 2.0 - various Animals (some things like the Mil Dragon are >$30, but this might be your chance to get it cheap). - V3 Ultra/Mega/Whatever catsuit - V3 bodysuit - Anne Marie Goddard - a few things listed under software ...I don't think anything has the "Vouchers can not be used" text anymore, but the things that it CAN be used for has text to that regard. One other note... my total purchase was <$30.00, so when I went to checkout, I just chose PayPal so that I didn;t have to enter my credit card info, etc. Well, there was a zero balance (deducted the payment from my voucher), but the items were not listed on my download page. I think it was waiting for a $0.0 payment via PayPal. I had to call them to get it fixed.

*!#$@!#$!!!
Agreed. Heck - if I'd bought MIMIC 2 Pro on the basis of that voucher (I didn't, I think it was worth it BEFORE that rebate, though I certainly wanted a rebate once one was offered) I'd be furious now. I don't think there's much (if anything?) on my wish-list that complies with such stringent restrictions :(
The more and more I think about it steam is rising. 1st teaser email said $30 voucher on anything, then on mimic pro, now only voucherable (or original) things. Unfortunately I have a lot of the things already. Yes the Voucher was the puch over the edge for me to get Mimic 2 Pro, I was not gunna get it, but thought the $30 could be used on PClub stuff and that was a huge push for me. seems now I have to wait for some goody to show up, which I'm almost certain will happen. Still disapointing.
BTW, if you are a PC member, you also get a discount on the same things that you can use the voucher for (just add things to your wishlist to see the discount).

Do your vouchers expire? If not, why not hold onto them for the Micheal 3 release? $30.00 off the price of the mesh and morphs in addition to your Platinum discount should make for some pretty nifty savings, er, assuming DAZ allows this, which they should. Perhaps some original item will come along even before M3 does. Don't let the vouchers burn a hole in your pocket if they don't have an immediate expiration date. :-)
The thing that steams me is that when they take something off sale, they don't take the "x percent off" tags off at the same time. There are things listed as being at a such-and-such percent discount, but they're actually at full price. Not cool. There's a relatively new hair product that I would have bought today if it weren't for this sort of sloppiness. I know, I know, cut 'em some slack, they're only human and all that. But so are we, and we're the ones with the cash to burn, so c'mon, guys, tighten up a little! :-)
From the e-mail notifying me of my voucher:
This voucher is good until August 1st, 2003 (midnight).
So yeah, it's valid for a tad under one month, no longer :(
...and I checked. There's things I'd have bought with it (e.g. the Hydra, a ton of $1.99 PC products) but to spend it with their "gotyas!" I have to really scrape the bottom of the barrel :(

Has anybody used their voucher yet? Can it be used for anything in the Daz store or only Daz original products? The Old store used to have comments in individual products saying "Vouchers cannot be used" but the new store doesn't seem to have those warning/notices anymore that I can see. I'd email Daz but I know they are swamped and figured that bunch of people here had used them and could answer without boggin down Daz with a simple question. Thanks for reading.
