is there anyway i can make my mouse wheel zoom in/out without pressing ALT in PS7?? coz everytime after i press ALT and do the zoom in/out it opens up the FILE menu which is bloody annoying... or at least change the ALT into some other button so it doesn't open up the File Menu... thanks all...

hehehe... my name does have that effect on people... yeah i already tried CTRL+wheel, that one side scroll the document window and SHIFT+wheel is also up/down scroll only the distance of the scroll is greater than without holding the SHIFT button down. thanks for the answer though :)

you can use CTRL and +/- keys on numkeypad to zoom easily. And spacebar for dragging big image - it temporaily changes your current tool to hand. Also, in older versions, CTRL+numpad zero shifted zoom level to 100 per cent.

Secret tip if you dont know
tab hides all toolbars, shift+tab hides all except tools.
