I think you've got the light,some brightnes and contrast on te first one will upgrade it, even if its a snapshot of your sink ;)

it something whipped in a bowl, drying on the edges in the top one. looks like it could be egg maybe but those chucks are throwing me off, good shot anyhow.

okay, I'll put you all outta your misery.... After decorating a little while back I was in a hurry to clear up and just dumped everything into the garage - forgetting to empty the unused wallpaper paste out of the bucket. Very recently found it, all dried out, about half a cm thick...... makes a good frisbee and an unusual item to photograph.... but nothing compared to one of my other finds which is gonna get photographed VERY soon before I chuck it out....
