Attached Link: H1 Military Slantback Humvee $13.00 US...4th of July weekend ONLY!

file_65368.JPG

Built to scale and converted to Poser, the interior, exterior, and undercarriage of this 3D model H1 have all been meticulously detailed in mesh and texture mapped to replicate the military ground vehicle as seen in Iraqi Freedom. The engine, drive train, transmission, exhaust system, gas tanks, radiator & cooling system, drive shafts & differentials, and all 4 suspension units have been created in detail. Movable objects: All doors & hood open, front bumper comes down, steering wheel turns, front wheels turn & rotate, back wheels rotate, gun turret hatch doors open, gun mount rotates 360 degrees, gun stand swivels (side to side), and gun moves (up & down). Model includes 3 sets of texture maps in different camouflage themes. Did we miss anything? :) We guarantee this model wont disappoint! To order via PayPal: send $13- US to pam@iw43d.com OR To order via credit card OR to view more images of this model, please refer to the attached link. That looks really cool and the price is rock bottom. I have a few questions and requests: Can you post some renders of the other texture options? Could we get a look at the UV templates? Can you show a Poser render with no textures applied? How many polygons are in the model?

To review this model, just refer to this link to see the different texture patterns:

http://iw43d.com/3DS/Vehicles/Military/Military_.htm

This links to our 3ds model section, but you get the idea. They're all just camouflage variations (desert, jungle, etc.)

Poly count is 241,593

Here's a different Hummer with one of them, but just refer to the link attached. I think you'll understand what the model is about if you just go there. Thanks for your interest, Ajax!

You betcha!

ChromeTiger ( ) posted Thu, 03 July 2003 at 10:56 PM

13 bucks is most definitely reasonable for a model this richly detailed. I've yet to run into one of your Poser models that isn't extremely reasonable for the cost. In fact, I'm still working on that full tour of the Magellan for you...just taking a lot of time amongst the other projects I've got cooking... ;-) Happy 4th to you as well...don't blow anything up! :-) ChromeTiger

HI Pamola, Thanks for the sale, you do have some outstanding models. But if you could, please check your Email. I just sent off 2 Emails to you on my purchase of the Humvee and a problem I had with the order. Thanks

lalverson ( ) posted Fri, 04 July 2003 at 11:48 AM

Sorry guys... I just turned on my computer. Leather Guy got the Nautilus model okay... So is it just the Humvee that is a problem? What happens? Are you just unable to download? Did it take your Money and then not let you have the model. (Great marketing gag that would be on our part, huh? lol ;) Send an e-mail to pam@iw43d.com and I will give you access to download from. If it did not accept your payment, send payment to the same e-mail address via PayPal and I will provide the info for you to get your model downloaded ASAP! Sorry about that guys! And thanks a million for letting me know. Pam

lol! well, well... there's a deal! ;-) this little humvee is the best poser model i've ever bought. full stop. when i use it on poser, it almost feels like i'm rendering with USD10k software. there's not a rough edge, funny poly, or out-of-place surface anywhere. in fact, it's so good, it almost makes everything else - even vicky 3 - seem "crude" in comparison. USD13? a deal squared, if you ask me! way to go, pamola.

lalverson ( ) posted Fri, 04 July 2003 at 4:31 PM

I do have to say honestly that they are prompt and responsive. My problems were adressed and concluded. My regret is that perhaps I spoke out of turn, and should have let things work out. So I will say to any who are considering, their process does work and are willing to work with a customer, which is indeed a plus.

efudd ( ) posted Fri, 04 July 2003 at 4:46 PM

My thanks to Pam for helping me out and going the distance to get things resolved on my problem esp on a holiday! I have the Hummer now and it by far blows any other Hummer model out of the water. And I'll go as far as saying that it would put most if not all vechicle models to shame for the depth of detail and realism thats in it. Now if I could just find $13.00 laying on the floor and get the Nautilus also. :-)

HeavyRay ( ) posted Sat, 05 July 2003 at 12:54 PM

WOW!! Picked-up both Nautilus & the HumVee. The Nautilus animation is fantastic; it's a real deal closer. I'm sure it was a LOT of work, but can't believe it hasn't resulted in a lot of sales.

Those these $13 "teasers" were a way to get us over to the site (already have my eye on the condo, office...), but hey, if you want to make these deals a regular thing, no need to wait for a "special occasion"!!! ;-)

Tks for the deals... Ray

Saw your latest post about the extended sale. I must say the "Flying Saucer" post caught my attention first and then I noticed you also had this sale going. I normally don't buy military vehicles and probably wouldn't have purchased the nautilus, but the quality seemed so good. I don't have the time to try it in Poser (too late and I have to get to bed!!), but I did unzip the files and "Wow"....there's a lot of stuff there for the money! The textures look fantastic as well. Hopefully I'll get a chance to try it out tomorrow. I'll let you know how Poser 5 handles it! :) I look forward to more "deals" and can't wait for that "Flying Saucer" to be available. I pray it's a pretty "good deal" :) One question: Is your site secure for purchases? That may sound dumb, but normally IE shows a lock at the bottom of the screen when the site is secured. I'm a bit fussy about using credit on line at unsecured sites.

Pamola ( ) posted Mon, 07 July 2003 at 11:06 AM

Don't blame you about being fussy about ernet CC purchases. But, "YES", the server is secure. I will check with our host provider as to why the little lock doesn't come up. I, too, always feel better when I see it down there and am uncomfortable when I don't. I have many other things to discuss with the programmer so I will add this to my list. pg
