Here are my choices: Orbital 1 Chohole 2 Electroglyph 3 As for the rest of you, since AS only lets have a few points to hand out, you will have to get M & Ms instead! I started off my challenge piece, but then my mother had to have surgery and I didn't get back to it in time. Hopefully I can get it finished and share it with you all anyway. Lin

There were so many wonderful entries, this was difficult to choose. 3 - Doublecrash 2 - Hyperborea 1 - Eelie

Fractals will always amaze me!

Wow, the entries are absolutely awesome and everybody deserves to be winners but if we must choose here's my selection:-

First of all I placed in third place -

sparr - third place was difficult for me and the decision went to sparr over ralphwarnick and ranachronos only by a whisker. Displayed a great awareness of what's possible in Bryce with this image and will produce fantastic work in the future, can't wait.

Secondly in second spot is -

tresamie - no problems here, second place and richly earned. Such fabulous detail in this image showing an infinite understanding of texture, style and table manners.
How do you bend a tree in Bryce - tut please a.s.a.p.

Bringing up the rear and in 1st place is (ta-da ta-da toot)

burgi - way, way out in front in my opinion, a winner all the way. Primivity at its very best. A super image created in the style of the master of industrial landscape,
Alan Child, and using the trademark feature of Alan, the chimney. In this representation two chimnies and centrally placed, as they should be together with the brash smoke of the north spewing forth in rolling billows of poisonous filth. Nothing short of a wonderful picture. Well done burgi. Give 'im t'money !

Dennis

These challenges get tougher and tougher. Lots of good stuff out there, but my final three are: 3 points Sambucus (I'd swear it was an oil painting) 2 points Zhann (Best ocean/surf pic yet. I'd love to know how) 1 point Eyecon (Great use of texture and light)

This was sooo! hard to to do. Resisting a bias towards music that I know, therefor giving me a lead into what the image is evoking, I went for gut reactions on viewing. As it happens! I love the the Vaughn-Williams piece and was very moved by the evocation of timelessness and serenity that Sambucus has evoked. I do not know the music illustrated in my other two choices but could really feel an extra-visual vibe that fascinated me and took me into realms of ambience, light and texture that moved me. Anyways!... 3: Sambucus. As many light and colour nuances as the score itself. 2: orbital. A scene to make the heart swell. 1: shadowdragonlord. Elemental textures and turbulent energy. Congrats to everyone on a truly engrossing collection of entries this month.

Ty Dennisld for the heartfelt vote of appreciation. I did try very hard to explain to the PPE that there could be no purple blood in the picture, and he was quite cooperative. As to bending trees, oops....he stepped on it. Tres :P

Fractals will always amaze me!
