Hi I posted this at the bryce forum and pretty much didn't get a response. Here goes again... This is a scene for a project I'm working on, entitled "Death's Hero." I copyrighted the treatment for this last year, and my skills are starting to get to the point where I can create somewhat decent scenes for the written stuff. How's the lighting and color in the image. Any other constructive criticism would help. Thanks. Aharon

Aharon.. The color is fine, so is the lighting. You have done a great job on this image. I wish I could offer constructive criticism.. but it looks great to me.. Stormrage

The only thing I could criticize at all is--it seems awfully hazy for an indoor scene, unless the air's polluted. :) But as I said before, it looks great just the way it is.

I couldn't see it in the Bryce forum unfortunately .. Sorry. Wasn't sure if it was just me or or not, have a new browser that is goofy. Looks pretty cool S

heyas; pretty cool! the picture has a story all it's own going on in there. i think it's kinda hilarious, the guy in 'normal' civvie clothes looks afraid that the suited-up chick is gonna make some noise and give them away. meanwhile, she is like, 'fergit this sneakin an hidin crap! i could kick these guys butts!' lol!

Thanks guys. This is my first real original work. A while back I posted the Future Fem Cop in the free stuff, but I always had her in mind for this project. Bloodsong, as a part of the story, The woman is a low ranking police officer, and the man is a high ranking plainclothsman who have accidentally been brought together on a case. She's tough, but inexperienced. And yes, she could kick ass. Inkwolf, It happens that in my story the entire worlds air is somewhat poluted, but in the scene, the characters are in a manufacturing facility and so the air is a bit dirty as well. If anyone had any ways of adding realistic depth without haze (I could use a blur in Photoshop, but I want the blur to be different for each object and consistant as well...)please let me know. Thanks. Aharon

The image looks more grainy (or perhaps faded with age) than hazy, IMO. Kind of looks like an aged or sun-damaged photo. Maybe you could play with a volumetric terrains to create wafting clouds of smoke/soot/polution? I think you can play with the Cloud Layer for this as well, but that can get tricky.

At first, I thought you were going for a racked(?) focus effect, but after further reading the comments, I realized, it was an atmosphere effect. Yup, looks like she could kick butt.

Thanks to Sprout (who is hosting her), you can get her from the freestuff section - do a search for my username or future fem cop
