I love SnowSultan's new technique! I did leave a couple textures on. The housemouse needed his to get the hands, feet, and nose a different color. So I overlayed the image on itself at a lowered percent with a Multiply merge mode and that smoothed it out. Click on the link for a bigger (though still smallish) version. Yes, I finally have a gallery here!

Wow, that REALLY doesn't look like it came from Poser! :) I'm glad you and so many others are finding that tutorial useful. Thanks for sharing such a cute picture! SnowS

I do not speak as a representative of DAZ, I speak only as a long-time member here. Be nice (and quit lying about DAZ) and I'll be nice too.

For people who don't quite "get" what is so great about this technique is that I know traditional illustrators who have made a nice comfortable career doing "flat" type art illustration with "simple" design. The incredible photorealism that Poser can do now, which I really enjoy too, does not translate that well into saleable commercial art. The problem is that 3D has become so common in movies today that people reguard it as not like "fine art". Not knocking 3D photo-realism at all, folks. Just talking about what I know people like to buy in the Fine Art arena, where you can make some serious money!

Very cool image.

to heck with fine art, digital pinup (and erotic lol) is becoming more and more popular, and people do pay for looking at it. and realism is often a great concern in that area... g Makes me think of the idoru... and in Japan, digital idols are all the rage. but if you want to cater to the snobs... be my guest. Not the first time they've been wrong on trends. :)

Thanks peoples, and again thanks SS for the great technique. It's really amazing to me over the years how it's the Poser users that have discovered things that the programmers never dreamed of.
