Subject: Where to find a swimming pool for Poser?

azl ( ) posted Tue, 08 July 2003 at 4:52 PM · edited Sun, 09 February 2025 at 12:28 AM

Does anyone know where I can find a realistic, common, backyard swimming pool for Poser? The ones I've found in the Marketplace are either too exotic (Majestic Pool Room by Exotica) or not Poser-ready (Tropical Resort by animdude, a 3ds file). Thanks.

SAMS3D has a very nice deck pool. It is the only pool I know of off the bat. Beth

Thanks Dizzie but I needed something a bit more adult ;) Beth, yes, SAMS3D has a nice pool but I needed something more angular.

Just wondering... I can - and yes the .mtl files can be a pain... but sometimes it's worth it. AWycoff (spell?) has a nice pool with arches... you can delete the arches. It's a U shape that goes into an ocean, but if you rotate it it works quite well... If it's a simple pool with 2 or 3 materials, go for the 3ds. I have almost every pool out there. I import them just for Vue.

theres an indoor one here... also go to 3d cafe, and you'll find an outdoor one, but you'll have to import it to Poser and make it Poser-ready.

Thanks everyone. I took pieces from various freebies that you all suggested and added some of the basic props to create a pool.
