Please take the follwing in good light, as I mean well :) Postwork, or painting after the render does not "make" an image. You have to start with a good pose, lighting and composition (I could go on with more). I could actually work with the lighting you have, but the pose is unrealistic, unless she's leaning on something. It looks like she's going to fall to her left as most of her weight must be on her right foot and it is too far to the side to support her. Like I said, there's just so much more than painting hair or cloth or whatever it is you want to paint. It's all about the whole image... it's all about color and point of view and balance and... well, much more. And you have to start with something that works from the very beginning. Imagine a house about to fall over. I could paint it, but now it's just a newly painted house, still just about to fall over. Like I said, I don't mean to sound overly critical, but more instructional. Of course, it could be just me. If someone else really loves it, then go for it :)
Ah, you miss the challenge! Take what's given and see what you can do! I have looked at thousands of images, photos, etc. before an inspiration thought hit me. With this image for example, maybe Sci-Fi, fantasy, pinup, sad, happy, etc. Whatever hits you. Obviously nothing hit you. : (

Zo', you've done some nice work. But maybe you miss my point. Sure, I could do something, but not without repainting her legs (in my opinion). Too much of a challenge for me right now... sorry :) To use another metaphor, to help you understand my point: Buy a 1972 Ford Pinto and give it a new paint job... you still have a Pinto. In other words, the 'base' of what you start with has to work. Like I said, just my opinion.
OK, I see your point! I guess what I'm curious to see is "What will the pinto look like when you're done?!"

This challenge reminds of "ani-jams" people used to do (or maybe still do?). If you haven't seen one: An animator starts with a character and ends with that character. The next animator in the jam has to start with the last frame and pass it on, always ending on that character for the next animator. What I thought was great about them was how utterly off-topic artists would go in their own segments, sometimes completely ditching the character but always returning. Sounds like a great challenge and would probably look interesting to connect all the entries into an animated sequence. Not likely that I will get to play but it looks like fun!
Post in the Poser Gallery. I look forward to seeing the results!!!!

OK, I have laboured, and brought forth! The result is at the link above. Thanks for this, I really enjoyed it!mmmmm, dare I ask: How long will you run this challenge? I have several things on my plate at the moment, but would really like to do this one as time permits...
No real time frame! Just a little something for people to have fun with. Thanks to Voodoo, I've received a bit of inspiration for an image but it'll take some time to "fix it up". : )
