I've been making new material folders for a little while for other people's stuff. It's a great way to keep who made what seperate. Especially if they're picky about commercial use. This works in bryce 5 windows version. I don't know about MAC or version 4. Go to your Program files/Corel/Bryce 5/Presets/Materials folder and create a sub folder. I made one named EG Challenge, but it can be anything you want. If you go to the pulldown menu in the materials editor the new folder will be available to put your challenge creations into. All you have to do is finish in the DTE click ADD and type in a name to add it to the folder. Here's an image of mine with my first material.
