Finally figured out what I'm looking for...more Mad Max type vehicles and props. Marque

Isn't it just so cool. I totally agree, love more Mad Max stuff. Sixus1's orc looks bad ass driving that buggy too.

Any way to animate the wheels moving so it looks like it's rolling down the road? Thanks, Marque

MachineClaw ( ) posted Fri, 11 July 2003 at 12:39 PM

yes, all the wheels rotate and the front wheels rotate per the sterring wheel position. if you have problems with animating it or questions about it ask Sixus1 or go to his site and post a messege in his site forum. I don't do animation, though it was mentioned in the product description that the wheels animate and work together.

To animate the wheels:

Select the Battle Buggy and move the zTran dial. The wheels will move with it.

Keep in mind that it also has front wheel drive and that you can control the two front wheels with the steering wheel. Simply select the steering wheel and turn the steering dial. :)

Hope that helps some.

How 'bout something like this???

Marque ( ) posted Fri, 11 July 2003 at 2:32 PM

Hummm, that didn't work. Did you mean the wheels roll or just move with the model? Marque

Marque ( ) posted Fri, 11 July 2003 at 2:35 PM

Yes, that is great! Marque

Attached Link: http://www.sixus1.com/products/BattleBuggyTest.AVI

Wheels are set up on the figure with a relational rotation system based on ERC. What this means is that the ZTran position of the body part called "Buggy" directly controls the Xrotation of the wheels. If you select "Buggy" and move it either with the tools in Poser or with the Ztran dial, you should see wheels turning. The link is to a viewport rendered animation test showing an example of both the wheel rotations and steering in action.
