Subject: DAZ "INJection Pose Builder" problem

Just bought it and was playing with it. Body morphs and Feature morphs seem to work fine but it ignores all the expression morphs. Like blink, open lips, and so on. Anyone know what the deal is? I tried on 2 different computers?

Go to Options/Processing and uncheck the "Ignore Expressions" box.

Yep, play with the checkboxes in the Options. I believe it has Ignore All Expressions checked by default. You'll want to uncheck that :o) Laurie

Lynn,
Both responses above are correct.

...are caught by the expression morph filter in IPB. By default, the option is set and the expression morphs are filtered out. Option dialogs are accessible from the Options menu or by using Hot keys. General [global] options, such as whether to include expression morphs or not, reside in the Options -> Processing dialog (F4). If you would like for this option to not be set by default, open the afore mentioned dialog, uncheck the option, and save your options (Options -> Save Options File). Saved in the options file, will be the state of all options (on | off) at the time you saved... along with the position (on screen) of all of the windows, the size of the main window (height / width) and the state (visible | hidden) of the option dialogs themselves. The saved options will be loaded each subsequent time you launch IPB. If after saving the options file, you ever want to revert to the default settings... you can 1.)Select Options -> Restore Default Options and then save again, or 2.)Simply delete the "IPBOptions.cfg" file located in the root folder of IPB.

Speaking of expressions, why are things like 'Eyewince' and 'NoseWrinkle' not considered expression morphs? (not just in this program, but by the various INJ and REM pose files as well).

My theory is because a lot of people use them as character morphs, and using them as part of expression poses could change someone's character.

Spanki ( ) posted Mon, 14 July 2003 at 3:08 PM

Yeah, I figured the same thing... I just always used those for expressions and it's a pain in the ass to have to go hunt them down under Nose morphs or something when I'm trying to create a new expression.
