Corel the company itself has been sold, to a venture capitol comapny called Vector Capitol. Other than that, the information remains the same...nobody knows nothing, `cause Corel ain't talking, neither is Vector Capitol. Why, if they aren't planning any immediate development of Bryce at all, they decided to announce the drop of Mac support...I don't know, lol. Corel has lowered the price of Bryce 5 to only $80. I'm not sure if people will shell out eith $400, or $1,000 for World Builder, guess it depends on the person... Hopefully...some/any of these questions can be answered at Siggraph, maybe someone knows something. (I'll be attending) AgentSmith

Note: Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Corel will actually be present at Siggraph 2003, which kinda surprises me. Still, maybe there will be some kind of info floating around. AS

Hi. I saw something posted awhile back saying that bryce had been sold. Has anyone heard anything more about it? Also if there is no more development for bryce on the mac (which I am personally upset with) perhaps if they make a mac version of world builder some people might switch. Now I'm not saying that I am going to stop using Bryce (as I am am currently using it to make all the terrain, cityscapes and animated cutscenes for my computer game) but perhaps it just needs some more recognition from the higher ups in the computer community so that developers will pursue creating an updated Bryce 6. Just my two cents. :)
