Sigh, ok so no one likes it eh? I'll probably regret this, but I need the feedback from folks in the know. Whats wrong with it? Critique it. Please! `;-) LB

Nothing really wrong with it IMO, I'm just not into abstracts. Very pretty.

Nothing wrong with it at all, its very beautiful and I do like abstracts! But I don't bother with wallpaper. I tend to put pics of my daughter or pets or grandkids etc on my computer. sigh I'm sorry that I didn't comment, looked so nice I didn't think it needed any. :-D

BTW I love those colors and textures, don't suppose you'd consider telling how you got them?

Actually Ang they are just the standard Bryce Metals. I'm just using one omni light above the center of the model with shadows turned off. Also everything is inside of a sphere textured with "polished silver" I believe. The render was a "kitchen sink" render except with shadows turned off. LB

cool thanks for the info. Hard to believe they are standards but I guess lighting makes a difference, something I havent' played around with much is lighting.

Ang25 Hard to believe they are standards but I guess lighting makes a difference, something I havent' played around with much is lighting. < Lighting is very important. With the right lighting, you can add the right atmosphere to a picture. Lighting is not optional. Remember seeing something in an artists magazine, in which somebody said that as artists we paint with light. 3d folks have to know how to use lighting too. Wallpaper looks cool.
