Hi! I'am a graphist and I create my textures with photoshop... one of my bigest problem is that when a same texture is repeated several times, it dosen't loop together... is there any option to check to avoid this problem?

werg, have you tried the "offset" option (FILTER --> OTHER --> OFFSET) and then blend or clone the edges?

to check it to see if it loops good just run the offset again (Ctrl+F)

Well my textures are kind of complex so it makes very hard to offset... I don't wann'a make a texture looping together when it is repeated... I want that when I create a texture it automaticly makes it loopy... I'm not looking for modifying a texture...

there are plugins that generate loopy textures on their own, but there isn't a plugin (to my, and likely retro's knowledge) that will take a graphic file (be it psd, tif, bmp, etc) and magically make it a looping texture on its own. If you want a texture that is loopable/tiling from the get go, you have to make tiling/loopable on your own. of course, someone prove me wrong, as this would make life much easier...

I use a program called Xfader and I am very happy with it You can find it here: http://www.pegtop.de/ In that you can make your textures behave just as you want.

Forgot to say, it is simple to use. You just copy-pste your texture into the program, and there are a horisontal and a vertical control so you can fade the edges into eachother to make a seemless image

plugins like the Eyecandy series and Xenofex I believe. And I think there are a couple of old KPT plugins (from version 3 i think) that do that.

Well I finally received Eyecandy 4000... and there is absolutly no plugin that allows me to make looping textures...
