Subject: .obj exports not round from RDS5

When I export or save as Wavefront, any round or cylindical objects (including .dxf imports) become very blocky, with hard edges. Is there any workaround for this? (sorry if this is a common question) --ratta

bloodsong did a nice tutorial on converting freeform to mesh objects at this site- http://people.delphi.com/sphynx/gallery/goodies/tut/tut.htm. Also, if you are working with freeform objects: go into the Geometry windw & increase the "surface fidelity" for the object. When you "export as wavefront" do so "with options" and check the button for "high" degree of tessalation.
