Hope I catch you before you leave! I purchased the Frankenstein....downloaded and got a file read error when trying to unzip. File size download is 17.2 and listed as 17.3. Please get back to me when you can.

I'm still here and am checking into the error message. Does the file load okay but just missing a texture map, or does it not lad. I loaded this file into P4 and did not get an error messag. I will check into this matter and get back to you ASAP. Am also sending you an IM with a couple ?'s. Until then... pg

The problem I was having was trying to unzip the archive after downloading. Gotta get those files outa that zip file before you can load into Poser......unless you know some slick trick I've not learned! :) I believe the problem is in one of the texture files. In the backgrounds texture folder, there was only one image that would extract after I got this error. After I trying to extract a couple of times, I remembered that one of the nice things about XP is that you can jump inside the compressed file and see what should be getting extracted! You can also individually extract every file except for the problematic one, which in this case is an image called "alien temple". I finally got all the background images extracted except for "alien temple" :) Since it was late and I was tired, I went to bed and have not tried loading anything into Poser but will sometime today. It seems we're only talking about an errant background image here. This is a minor problem that can be solved next week.....go enjoy your weekend :)

Just a bit of followup: I loaded into Poser 5....everything works great Pam :) It is just a missing background and has no effect on anything else that I can see. The main camera and dolly cameras in Poser 5, serve to pose all your camera settings without a hitch. Very easy to set up, with or without the pz3 you provide :) I suspect that if there was anything critical missing, Poser 5 would have had a fit! Amazingly, Poser 5 seems to really like your models! They load faster than just about anything else I've used in P5! Great job! If you want to just email me the missing background, that will be fine.

Yeah, the Imagination Works things I've gotten have all been really nice (I'm using PoserPro). Their stuff is some of the best I've bought so far, the prices are very reasonable these days....and the customer service is as good as you can get anywhere:) Eric

I agree Eric. I hope they're getting a good response to their specials. I got the hummer and nautilus just to see what kind of quality their models had. They really are excellent. This week I just got the Gothic Tower. Lots of neat things can be done with the model. That animation they produced was really amazing! The Tower .pz3 loaded in record time for P5..no searching, no "thinking"..their stuff just loads. Their code must be very clean or else they use to work for Curious Labs!! Ha! :) Anyway, I'm very pleased so far. If I can scrape up another $18 bucks I might grab the jet as well. Then it's off to RDNA.....:)

Our local Gothic Tower zip files we had archived opened in Poser with no errors. We checked the file on the server, however, and found that it had been corrupted. To all who purchased the model and got a bad crc file error message please redownload the Gothic Tower file now, as it has been replaced on the server. You should have 24-48 to redownload, but if you should have any problem, please contact admin@proroom.com or knight@iw43d.com for further assistance. Thank you again for letting us know about this right away. Cheers! Pam
