I keep getting an error meesage insufficient disk space...I have 71.7G free!!! What's up with this??? I want the scene at the end to be min. 1024x800. Righ now I can't even render at 600x600!!! Sys specs: Win XP Pro, 2.6 MHZ processor, 1G ram, 71.7G free on the HD, Nvidia GE Force 4600 Video card(has its own RAM). Only things open in the SYS tray is my printer,Internet conncection. TIA

have you checked whats the resolution youre rendering at? I had that problem when rendering big images at 320dpi (wanted the render for a print), but no prob at 72dpi. Hope this helps :)

when was the last time you defragged your harddrive? Poser like to have lots of unfragmented space when rendering, I defrag about once a week & that seems to keep poser happy :)

Just guessing, but perhaps a more virtual memory (bigger Windows swap file) would help.

Wouldn't messing with the swap file effect other proggys where they might not run correctly....I know I can switch once out of Poser..but what a pain in the ass. Guess it's time to upgrade to 2g of RAM....siiiiiighhhh....Why is nothing every good enough....just bought this puter about 3 months ago & its STILL not good enough...grrrrrrrrr. Thanks to all

I think the error message is bogus. Open poser, open your pz3, save the pz3, render again. I think the save does something. Give it a try.

It is 4.03? Also check out CL's website, I had the same issue and they suggest a number of things that will help.

I get the same problem from time to time, if I close down and start up again it seems to work OK. You have win xp so if you have a problem with memory it tries to automatically allocate virtual memory. Sometimes I can render an image at 4060 with 300dpi no problem. Then straight after I try 2048 x 1536 at 300dpi and get the problem occur. I save and close, re-open and try again and it works. It is a right royal pain in the ass but I don't seem to get the problem again with that file.
