Subject: VectorStyle and RavixIII

Along with CS3 and Amapi Designer Pro, I'm hoping that the Eovia developers also have time to upgrade VectorSyle to RavixIII. I was going to buy the Swift3D stand-alone package just for RavixIII, but now have my fingers crossed that VectorStyle will be next in the upgrade parade. Chris

Hi Isulaelu, Thanks for the link. At $650, the price for Plasma seems almost reasonable compared with the $3500 for 3dsMax. If I had an extra $4000 lying around, I might be tempted to go for both Plasma and Max ....hehehe!!! Seriously, I do like to purchase good tools regardless of the cost, and I have considered buying 3dsMax before, even though Maya has dropped in price, and C4D and LightWave have a good reputations as capable animation packages in the $1500 - $2000 range. I've already spent my hardware/software budget this year, though I think I can afford the CS3 upgrade. Plasma & Max will have to wait ... maybe next year, unless I buy a house. Chris

I was told that Vector Style will be upgraded to work with C3 but I don't know if that includes the RavixIII stuff.

Hi Mark, One of the advantages of RavixIII, over RavixII, is that you can render reflections in reflective surfaces. Pretty cool! Chris

Oh man, I could go for that!
