Photoshop 7 on Windows 2000 Pro
When I try to use the KPT plugin, Photoshop freezes........is this particular to version 7 as it used to work fine on version 6?
Thanks in advance for your help.

give Corel Technical service an email. If you provide your purchase details, they should be happy to help you with your troubles.

Which version of KPT? I have KPT 6 and KPT Effects on Photoshop 7 with no problems.

i know that KPT3 and KPT5 have a plugin interface problem with ver7...

To gain back control of Photoshop, try "Ctrl+Shift+X". After that - "Esc"

or

click on the top of the tool pallette then "Ctrl+M" then "Esc".

This should help.

Thanks Retrocity for your suggestions........
It was in fact KPT 3 which caused the freeze.

Ctrl + M then Esc de-freezed Photoshop (in my particular case)

Many thanks to everybody, especially Renderosity for this facility.

I believe the PS 7.01 update corrected the problem with the KPT's. I have no problem with any KPT's here.

Two words come to mind here, "Machintosh" and "ram". In reviewing the message board here and trying to gain an insight to this community I would like to say that Adobe and Apple are good friends, and have been from the beginning. I have the same software installed on both formats, with 5 times the ram on my mac. Invariably, it runs better. (meant in a good way, I hope I didn't offend anyone). :) Rick
