Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 05 2:05 am)
Yup, the "rendering a 91x91 picture" is also the way I create my thumbnails. And remember, in Pro pack/P5 you can render at any given HEIGHT, as long as the WIDTH is 91. Some of my stuff is rendered in 91x182 to make larger thumbnails, great if the thing is something tiny :o) But thanks for the action anyway. It's great if you want to put text or something on your pictures.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
It's quite easy to modify this action to create a 91 x whatever thumb. With a (larger) image loaded, make sute Actions palette is not in "Button Mode", then: - expand the Poser-png-thumbs group (click on arrow beside name). - Expand the action of your choice (e.g. White-Background). - Near bottom is "Image Size" entry. Double click on this to bring up dialog box. Check the "Constrain proportions" box. Type 91 into width, click OK. Action will now create 91 pixels wide by proportionately tall thumb so a 300 x 600 pixel source would be 91 x 182 thumb. -- Mark PS Tested on PhotoShop 6 - OK.

After making hundreds of pngs in PSP 7 I may just have to upgrade for the scripting in 8. I haven't got around to it yet.
But in PSP 7 to make a png with a blank background that can be converted to an rsr for Poser 4:
Render a 91x91 tiff in Poser. Open in PSP 7. Go up to load mask from alpha channel then delete the mask and merge with the layer to get a transparent background. Then you must invert the alpha channel by loading the selection from the alpha channel then invert the selection. Next, save the selection to the alpha channel and pick the exisiting alpha channel and it will overwrite it with the inverted one. Next you can add any text you like or logo. Then use the png export option in the file menu. Pick existing layer transparecy for the tranparency option. If you have no text the use the alpha channel option. Then export. For Poser 4 you can then convert with P3DO Explorer to an rsr.

If you use P4, you'll need to convert the thumbnails to .rsr files using a program like P3D0 Explorer before you can use them.
The actions are in the FreeStuff under 2D. I'm mentioning them here in case people only check Poser freebies.
Hope you guys find them useful!
