Finally I decide to make the plunge and by Cybermesh by Knoll and I go to Puffin and its gone! I am cursed about this!! It is like the time I spent months looking at a Fischer-Price video camera for $70 and when I finally went to store with money in hand they had sold the one unit. What is it with Cybermesh? Its like I am fated not to have it!!! I haven't been able to get an image into RAW format or whatever to try using Terragen to make a face mask, but the resolution looks to low anyway. Has anyone found a way?

Do you have Bryce? If so the terrain editor is great for that! I tried "Cybermesh" at my friends place, It's ok, but not great(Maybe we were doing it wrong!). Personally, i don't think it's worth the $$... Marc

No Bryce... it really works for making a mask from a photo? I doubt I can afford it but I'll check.

kind of works, was going for egyptian type of mask from a nice pic i scanned. But ended up doing it in 3dsR4. If i find the 2 pics, i'll email them to you, so you can compare. But! Don't hold your breath! This was from 5 years ago, So they're surely on diskettes(Which is the worst backup Media ever created!) :-( And maybe it's for the best that you didn't find it after all! Cause like i said, I don't think it's worth 100$. Unless you can get it for 10-20$ Marc

Marque, the demo of Cybermesh never did work with my PhotoshopLE but I finally decided to spend the $45 and Cybermesh is no longer to be found at Puffin or anywhere else! I wonder if I could find Knoll's email somewhere and write him.
