Subject: Focus of Poser 4 figures

I desperately need advice please. My figures are very often slightly out of focus. I tried messing around with lights and focal length, but it doesn't help. What does one do to get sharp focus on a full figure? I use Poser 4. I don't have such problems when I do a head, which is nice and large.

Well, I'm baffled because there is no such thing as 'unsharpness' in poser (unfortunately). Changing lights or cameras will do nothing. Could it be something to do with Depth Cueing? You can switch that on/off in the Display menu or by using the 4th button on the right of the doc window. But it's more of a foggy effect than soft focus. The only other thing I can think of is to go to preferences and set poser to open with the factory settings and see if it's any different. mac

I wonder if it's a problem with your CRT monitor itself? If the beams are slightly off, it wouldn't be as obvious on a face image. Have you tried some of the controls (like the degaussing button) on the monitor?

if you're talking about saved rendered images, save as tiff instead of jpg then convert the tiff to jpg.
