Subject: radiosity experiment in p5 / one light.. opionios please!

trying to fake radiosity by using the ambient light setting in the mat node.. used only one light.. render time 30 seconds.. didn't use firefly.. am i getting close to photo.relasitic? what could i do improve? im sure we can do photo real..in p5.. just have to try harder

That looks pretty good... although I am a bit hopeless on the material room. Can you explain what you plugged in where? My own experiments have only left me more confused :o)

Wow! I gotta try this. What happens if you use Firefly? Does it not work? I didn't think the P4 renderer could use the different material nodes. This is very interesting.

firefly works...just doesn't add much..but 4 minutes to render time..here's an other test...

Ahhh...what happens if you try to render her in a darkened scene? Does she glow, like in P4?

Ah, ok. So this would be good for brightly lit scenes, but not so good for dramatic lighting with lots of contrasting shadows.
