Gorgeous. Many thanks! (And it's an incentive to wander through the store and spend a few bucks -- I can work with that. :) )

Catharina Przezak ( ) posted Fri, 01 August 2003 at 12:37 PM

Thanks !! JoeyAristophanes ! you don't have to spend any bucks in my store! I did this cose people have truble to find this before ..so now a blind will find this..:)) and if you want to wander through the store it is only your own decision..:))) LOL ...:pssssst: you are more that welcome:) hahahahaha

JoeyAristophanes ( ) posted Fri, 01 August 2003 at 1:19 PM

I meant that it was a personal incentive for me. And yeah, I can deal with that kind of incentive. Your work, ma'am, is always incredible in the level of detail and realism. It's almost frightening, and I would kill to learn some of your trade secrets. Seriously, have you ever considered writing a book about your technique?

droyd ( ) posted Fri, 01 August 2003 at 1:51 PM

Looks awesome as usual, thanks much!

tonymouse ( ) posted Fri, 01 August 2003 at 1:58 PM

I'd buy it for sure!!!!

Catharina Przezak ( ) posted Fri, 01 August 2003 at 3:39 PM

JoeyAristophanes ...writing a book about my technique? first I have to learn better english..or find a writer to write this for me..hahaha

dialyn ( ) posted Fri, 01 August 2003 at 3:43 PM

I have no doubt that there are people who would love to work with you on the writing for the sake of learning your techniques. This texture is amazing....it's incredible that you are offering for free.

Dizzie ( ) posted Fri, 01 August 2003 at 3:51 PM

Outstanding!

Catharina Przezak ( ) posted Fri, 01 August 2003 at 3:58 PM

dialyn ..that is a good idea..maybe someday please don't be suprised, why I have to put a crap for free.. what people think about my work when they see a bad free stuff.. will somebody love my stuff later? I don't think so.. it is also my "business card" and I love to make people little happy and from now they will get every month a great freebie textures in low version but with good quality..:)

pdxjims ( ) posted Fri, 01 August 2003 at 4:12 PM

It's a beautiful texture, the way all of your textures are. It'll also fit well with the V3 male. Love Mario too. I keep playing with him between work on the Ichiro package. I figure he's cost me a at least a day's work on getting the final package together. I don't mind though. He's great. Thank you for the great freebie!

Catharina Przezak ( ) posted Fri, 01 August 2003 at 5:01 PM

Thank you Jim, I still busy with the mat..cose I have to do this all per hand to fit the head textures with the nikita so this don't work automatic.. this time I do the work for you..and you can use Kyoko with Nikita or other body if you wish..:) While I am playing with the cover I ad the Kozaburo's ponytail to the head and look what I got.. the ponytail fix with the head hair textures and final character.. the scalp is great also if you use any black 3d hairs on V3.. you will get the chance to play tonight.. NOW BACK TO MAT FILES..:) CATH

lululee ( ) posted Fri, 01 August 2003 at 6:01 PM

Thank you so much Catherine. Your Nikita is one of my favorite textures. She renders perfectly. Her textures are a worl of art.

Tashar59 ( ) posted Fri, 01 August 2003 at 10:09 PM

Quick question. For Nikita, will this mean the head tex matches the Nikita body tex? I noticed another head tex that says the same thing. Thanks for the texture. Even your low res is high standards.

Kyoko and Ela was made on the same layout that Nikita so this textures mathces the Nikita Body + the teeth and gums..and you can mix the eyes with the whole package together.. I work on the new body for Nikita I mean body 2 little more softer that will as a free updates for all that purchased Nikita.. here a sample of image I did right now with the old Nikita and Kyoko low resolution Cath

Tashar59 ( ) posted Fri, 01 August 2003 at 10:26 PM

Thank-you for the great answer. When I can stop tripping over my jaw, I'll head back over there.

MachineClaw ( ) posted Fri, 01 August 2003 at 10:31 PM

Catharina thanks for the freebie. Nikita is getting more n more useful with all the additions your putting into the set. is there going to be a high res version of Kyoko at some point? Thanks again, love the look of Kyoko.

JurgenDoe ( ) posted Fri, 01 August 2003 at 11:21 PM

Cath ... thanks for the freebie but I have one suggestion :) I've never seen a China Girl with freckles and blue eyes :)

Strength Is Life, Weakness Is Death

Firebirdz ( ) posted Fri, 01 August 2003 at 11:46 PM

Thanks Catharina, Just got the new textures downloaded. Very well done! I have all of your Nikita textures and it is an ingenious idea to do hair on the texture as well as the lower eyelashes. Love the fact that the faces of ela and Kyoko can be used with Nikita like it has so many options. Love this new girl too. and the freckles. She must have mized parentage to have blue eyes. I know that where Asia meets Europe, there are people like that. Firebirdz

Catharina Przezak ( ) posted Fri, 01 August 2003 at 11:52 PM

MachineClaw ..yes I will create also a High version of Kyoko..need only some ads and new Mat..so tomorrow maybe I am finish..the original face textures of Kyoko are 4000 and will include one more face with make up so eveybody will happy.. and my dear GothicAngel ....I will not prove to you and don't show you the original photo face materials.. but did you saw the commercial advertising of NORA? but she have so face for real cose she use to much sun and I requested the face without make up for the detail..and the eyes? they are dark but the light turned the reflections to dark blue color.. is not nice? make them black..hahaha LOL I think you don't saw to much.. what about Naomi? hahhaa

Catharina Przezak ( ) posted Fri, 01 August 2003 at 11:57 PM

Thank you Firebirdz ...so I am glad to :hear: you..:) please wait when you get new Nikita body for free.. this will a complete package for sure.. and time to start one new complete again..

file_69630.jpg

try to change the figure colors after you ad the White mat of Nikita to the figure.. it will help you to get the same effect I did in above renders.. it will look much better and if you get to much red/rose skin try to use a little bit green light....it will remove the red color to very natural

dolfijntjes ( ) posted Sat, 02 August 2003 at 12:27 AM

Thank you very much she lookes wonderful

Eowyn ( ) posted Sat, 02 August 2003 at 5:42 AM

She's beautiful. Thank you Cath :)

Catharina Przezak ( ) posted Sat, 02 August 2003 at 8:16 AM

Phantast... I know somebody will as the question..yes you are right..it is a Japanese name.. so I will give you a tip to use the Japanese morphs ..:) LOL I just love the name and it past to her face.. Thank you Eowyn ..I am happy you like this freebie..:)

Eric Walters ( ) posted Sat, 02 August 2003 at 12:23 PM

Hi Catharina! I am a fan of your North eastern? European textures. I knew a woman from the former Czechloslovakia- Czech Repulic-who looked like Nikita. Also a Russian gal. Overall, I think your textures look more like real people Kyoko? Great texture-looks like a real person. And I have seen Eurasians looking just like that. Also people from -as was said-the areas where Asia and Europe meet, largely in the old USSR. BTW: I also bought the Ela for Nikita. One thing I notice is that the Ela image "jumps" over the ordering buttons- so I had to close-reopen-and push the order button BEFORE "Ela loads". IE5.1 MacOs. I look forward to your next release! Especially V3. Cheers, Eric Walters

Catharina Przezak ( ) posted Sat, 02 August 2003 at 2:46 PM

Thank you very much Eric.. I love when the textures what I do change the face of V3 direct without morphs so textures as this are more powerful that normal.. did you try to make render with low Kyoko without asian morph?.. thanks for note about the image/order..I go to fix this.. I am working on the Kyoko High resolution textures right now and with 2 more heads for japanese character.. so 2 Chinese and 2 for Japanese.. the last one have smother skin without freckles and great for close up renders..she have new lips and eyebrows.. and the face area is changed.. will upload a good render about couple of min..if somebody interested to see check my gallery.. Thanks!

Thnak you mazak.. I need only the Mat! and Musicat.. thank you for your comments.. you are right 100%.. the face I did is from a Chinese Girl from Australia.. and asian people don't take to much sun cose of the yellow color of the malanin and freckles that why I don't get to much sun too cose the same problem as wrote above.. people make always joke about that I smoke to much..LOL .. and I am mix of Italian, German, Polish and little Asian and cose I was born in Poland I don't need to have real blonde hair and blue eyes.. I have many Chinese friends in my town and as you said they have also hazel and green-black eyes..and very much freckles! especially the little older people..

Eric Walters ( ) posted Sat, 02 August 2003 at 8:19 PM

Hi Catharina You are most welcome! I like the newest texture also-but please keep the freckled one as well. The freckles, etc, make her look quite real! Eric

Catharina Przezak ( ) posted Sat, 02 August 2003 at 9:37 PM

Thank you Sharen!!!!!!! and Eric.. there are 4 heads.. the 2 you saw in lower version.. and 2 new with new face elements and smoth skin. :) I can't make everyone happy but I try! :)

Foxseelady ( ) posted Sat, 02 August 2003 at 11:33 PM

Thank you so much, I just love realistic pictures (although I am still learning how to achieve this) and textures are a big part of it. Yours certainly are realistic and I appreciate your time and work thank you again for sharing.

Hi Catharina

Great work! I've been having fun with the low res-as a Caucasian. Here is one render- the eyes are from Gecco-but then I always mix those things. I am looking forward to your hi Res textures. ESPECIALLY the hiRes Kyoko-without smoothing.
Looks like REAL skin. Take a look.

Eric

Catharina Przezak ( ) posted Wed, 06 August 2003 at 8:51 AM

The skin in your render looks fantastic! great job on this one Eric! thanks! .......... Cath :)

Eric Walters ( ) posted Thu, 07 August 2003 at 12:19 AM

Thanks Cath! Keep those realistic textures coming. MOST people have freckles and other imperfections. That's why I think your LOW res version looks more real than many HiRes versions-that are too perfect. Don't know WHAT happened with the TEETH!! Not your textures by the way. I'll see about fixing that. :-) Eric

Catharina Przezak ( ) posted Thu, 07 August 2003 at 11:49 AM

thank you Eric.. I think little to much shadows .. try to change the ambient color to get the milk glass soft effect for the teeth..:) Cath

Eric Walters ( ) posted Thu, 07 August 2003 at 11:54 PM

Hi Cath. You could be right-I'll try that! Eric
