for some reason my photoshop dont want to open, when i try to open the the program, it try to load the filter and all the stuuf but when is finish does not come up in the computer, does anyone know how can i fix this, please help me anyone, my photoshop is the only passtime i have, thank you macrey

Hi mac, most likely your preference file got corrupted. Toss it out, Photoshop will make a new one when it's launched again... (Prefs.psp - located in the Documents and Settings/[user profile]/Application Data/Adobe/Photoshop/[version]/Adobe Photoshop [version] Settings folder) not sure if you're WIN...

OR

reset your Photoshop preferences by holding down the Shift-Ctrl-Alt as you launch Photoshop.

hi thank you for the replay but i cant find the prefereence file and till doing the same thing, what would be the easy way to file this file thank you macrey, by the way iinstall photoshop 6 and it work fine, but 7 does not want to open also im using win xp. thank you agaimn

try reinstalling adobe and if it still doesnt work call support....

put your IBM in a shppong trolly and roll it inot "cash converters" and maybe with a new OS your worries will be over hehehe
