Just wanting to find out what people think of the texture I'm working on. Partially inspired by the new Egyptmania at DAZ, partially something I've been working on for months.

Body texture.

I think the eyebrows are TOO sharp. I love the eyeliner though :o)

The eyebrows are traditional Egyptian styled eyebrows. They shaved their eyebrows and drew on eyebrows much like many women do, now. They also shaved their heads and wore wigs, for the most part. In any event, the eyebrows are a transmap, and I have another transmap I intend to include...

Yes they did draw the eyebrows on, but there was a more bold, but natural curvature, the same with the eyeliner, but you seem to be off to a good start. I also like your eyes on the natural transmap you just posted, very beautiful. Also something with the lips looks a little off, between the top lip cleft. Also the bottom lip seems too small for the top. I hope I don't sound overly criticial, but you asked, and I'm just trying to lend some honest and hopefully helpful criticism.

Honest criticism and helpful criticism are almost always the same. The lips are just my model, I think. Her face morph, that is. believe me, I see what you mean. As for the makeup, the eyes were not always done in the 'traditional' style. grins I'm glad you like the more natural one. I've worked hard on these, and I hope it shows.

I think you've got a good start. On the Egyptian one at top, I'd make the eyebrows a bit thicker. Stark works well for the look, but they seem thin to me. For both of them, I think they would benefit from a little more toning. Think of the parts of the body that get a lot of bloodflow, like the cheeks, nose and forehead, the palms of the hand, the breasts and so on, and add some pink undertones to those areas. You do have a very nice start, though. They already look better than many finished textures I've seen.
