Where do you put the corresponding JPEG's that go along with .VOB's??? Do they go in the same file or in the Materials folder?? I've searched & did go to the backroom but I could not find anything...nothing really concrete in the manual either. I made the mistake of "assuming" things when I started dealing with Poser file locations & took it me weeks to correct my stupidity. I have a feeling this a bad way to start here red-faced and running. ;)

You mean the bitmap? If it is the rendered picture, the default is Vued'Esprit/pictures. If it is an Object, the default is Vue d'Esprit/bitmap. You can place the jpeg's anywhere you like, as long as you point Vue towards there. I save objects with the corresponding jpeg's together in each folder, easy to find out what coming from where. :-) Hope it helps!

Nope no bmp's just Jpegs & tga files....I'm unzipping everything I collected & noticed these....thanks will locate them all in the same folder. Some have just the .vob...these others contain the above mentioned...but no bmp.s in any of thses files. Thanks

Any extra texture files that you may have jpg, bmp, tga, or what ever go in the bitmap folder. Now if you are adding an object the texture files can also go into the various object files as well. The thing is if it is not an object that does not comes with Vue the next time you open that scene it may ask you to find the file. If you have the texture files already in the bitmap folder it will ask if it is ok to use the texture files from the bitmap folder and just click yes. Other wise you will have to navigate to the object file that the textures you need are residing in. A bit complicated and good question. If you need further explanations feel free to email me at: r.shoop@verizon.net Good luck and welcome. Shoop3D Rick Shoop aka:rds

Actually, this is a good way to start here. It's easier to fix a problem before it becomes a real problem. Asking someone for their serial numbers, now there's an example of a =BAD= way to start here..... ;)
