I think Gebe has mentioned before that there is a contest going where you have to produce an image with Cinema. Zo be able to do so Maxon gives away their full version 6 for free, Windows and Mac. Beside the magazine Gebe has mentioned (PC Magazin in Germany) it was on my MacUp (german magazine as well) too. But more interesting for you probably is the note i read today in the ComputerArts newsletter today: COMPUTER ARTS 88 EXCLUSIVE: CINEMA 4D 6 CE - FREE! Cheers Wabe, I've just checked and it's on sale from the 4th Sept. Me thinks I'll be camped outside WHSmiths on the 3rd. I've been looking for a modeller for ages and this looks like it could be a cheapish way into Cinema.

You're also able to register your CE for 99 and get a version being able to render at 16000 X 16000 instead of 600 X 400 pixels.It is changed into CE + then and offers the full features of R 6 !

It will be in October's 3D World mag as well (issue 43, out 3 Sept) if anybody gets that instead of Computer Arts.
