There was a thread a couple of days ago about the colour limits for the family grouping device. You can't seem to add more colours but you can CHANGE the colours! When selecting an item on the Bryce workspace, you get a drop down that has a small square that you use to assign a colour to that item or items. Clicking this brings up a panal with a selection of colours on it. At the bottom of this panal is the cross or tick option. But! There is also a swatch of the colour you've chosen to the left of the cross/tick! Holding the Left Button on this swatch brings up a colour palette that allows you to change your selected colour to whatever you want and assigns your change to the main group above. You could for example, select pale blue and change it to a darker hue...and so on... Hope this helps. The Bryster

Ooh, this could be really nice for those light colors so you can see them. Thanks for the tip! I'm pretty sure I've found it before, but there are just so many little things like this that I forgot all about it.

Also Bryster Just Like the other options in Bryce by hitting the shift & Alt - Right Click brings up the HLS color bar slider thingy by the way I does definately help to choose your own colors. Im lazy and dont label the families so sometimes i double assign a color which is like a complete nitemare but I know if its one of the custom colors its Taken!!!!!!!-

No matter what I try I cannot add more groups, just change the colors of the existing ones.
