"All uploads will be held for review to ensure accordance with the guidelines listed in the Disclaimer. Once the item is approved it will be made available to all Renderosity members for download." Bah how long does that take? FYI here's what's included in the pack, there are 4 grass models total in this free pack. The retail will include 25 to 30 and be available as soon as possible.

Here's some extra info about the naming schemes etc. It's the readme in the file. rofessional Grass Models by Ornlu These models are for non commercial use only. Failure to comply with this request will result in legal action. In order to obtain a commercial license, look into my complete grass set (25 to 30 grasses) in the near future. (just something that has to be said. sorry) -------------------------------------------- Requirements. -Hopefully a 3d program and atleast 256 megs of ram, preferably 512 or 1024. Model information. -The naming scheme for the models goes as follows, the first part of the name states whether the model is a grass tile or a sprout, IE grasses or grassessprout, the first number is the identification number of the model, the second number important states the number of polygons the model has. This is especially important for bryce users. -These models are rather high poly and professional grade, tweaked for absolute realism in any program. Use. -The models can be used in any CG program, Bryce, Poser, Cinema 4d, Maya, 3D Studio Max, Softimage XSI, VUE anything. -The models are in 3ds format, for example in bryce click file import and select the model to use. Package contains 4 grass models, readme.txt, and a JPeg that gives an image of each grass tile.

I'll go squat in freestuff to wait for them to appear. 8) Please keep us posted on when you'll have the whole collection for purchase Ornlu, and do you have an idea of the price you'll charge for them? Catlin

Pedrith ( ) posted Thu, 07 August 2003 at 8:10 PM

Yes. Please lets us know when the collection is available as I will need to purchase them to use in my computer game. Keep up the good work. :)

Ornlu ( ) posted Thu, 07 August 2003 at 8:28 PM

Yes the price will most likely be $14 or $15. Not very high at all.

Zhann ( ) posted Thu, 07 August 2003 at 10:40 PM

You might want to check the price on similar items in the marketplace, I know as soon as I posted my photo backdrops, six more backdrop packages showed up of lesser quality but they under priced mine and took the business...

I did, I saw 3 (not very great) grass tiles for 14, and 3 more for 14. Then I saw a very low quality grass tile set of 4 for 15. I am selling 20 Grass tiles that can be mixed and matched all professional quality, 10 Grass Sprouts of varying complexities and designs, and a premade grass area that can be fit together like a puzzle but has an irregular shape, it covers a large area with no square edges or un naturalness. That's 31 professional quality grass models for $15.. less than 50 cents a model, I think that's more than fair.

Don't suppose you need some image beta testers offering free advertising??? Hmmm? Good Grass Man!

MuddyGrub ( ) posted Fri, 08 August 2003 at 12:17 AM

You should throw in a freebie just for fun, like a mower. lol

Zhann ( ) posted Fri, 08 August 2003 at 12:38 AM

Did your homework I see, I didn't realize there were 31 models, that's a great price...more than worth it! Do you need beta testers, I volunteer!
