I know there is a name for a technique which oinvolves rendering two frames of a 3D scene. What you do is overlay one of the other in photoshop so that half is wireframe and half isnt. can anyone tell me what they call it please and better still point me in the right direction of a tutorial. Im trying to do an image of a head with one half wireframe and the other one rendered. cheers darren

Here is a short post, that will give you ideas on useing a texture template to achive the wireframe. Make a render useing that technique, and one normal render...then copy/paste the two togeather in Photoshop/PSP,and play with blend modes and eraseing unwanted parts. HaveFun,SWAMP

OK. Off topic but I've got to know something. What does posting just a period mean? I see it from time to time here but mostly thought it was someone just maybe being rude, but in my relativly short time lurking and occasionally posting, I've not known Sharen to be ever be rude. Just curious.

That's bookmarking....you do that, and you will receive EBots everytime someone post a reply. Example...someone post a question that you would also like to know about...you bookmark. That way you don't have to keep going back to the thread to check. Don't have to use a period...anything will work.

Sorry,I'm back....my connection cut out. Anyway that's not being rude at all,we all bookmark as this forum moves fast and post #1 could be post#150 tomorrow. And Sharen...they don't come any nicer than her. SWAMP

How did my thread manage to turn into a discussion about Ebots, Bookmarks and people being rude? lol Oh happy days!

Actually, posting a period, the as soon as it's posted, delete your post will STILL bring you an e-bot whenever there's a reply. The drawback is that the people that are allready following the thread will get an e-bot saying that "ernyoka1 posted" to the thread, yet when they hurry on to see my words of wisdom, there are none ;o) But it LOOKS better than a . You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
