Subject: My ProPack Runtimes are incomplete in P5!!! PLZ HELP!!!?????!!!

Hi all, Well after many a good year with Poser 4 and later Poser Pro Pack I went and took the plunge and was suckered by the mighty fine looking FireFly renderer!!! Loving Poser5 (except Don & Judy are butt ugly in my opinion {Viva Daz3D} heh heh)it tastes better & is less filling and I really, really, really like the cloth room and dynamics possibilities & FireFly renderer if I haven't mentioned that already! But much to my despair when I added my P4 Runtime it was incomplete!!! I installed the P5 SR3 immediately after initial install and that went perfectly but when adding the P4 Runtime Dir it was kerplooie!!!!! Michael & Stephanie are in the Daz People folder but no Victoria... Some of my poses are in the poses directories but most aren't... No Voluptuous Vicky but Stephy Staxx is there... H E L P M E P L E A S E ? ? ? ? ? ! ! ! ! ? ? ? ? Any advice or information would be immensly appreciated!! Thanks! G

What if you open Poser 4? Are the missing characters present then? If you look in those folders, (using explorer) are the characters there?

What exactly do you mean when you say added? Did you copy your P4 runtime over to P5? If so, there was no need, as you can link to the P4 runtime from inside P5.

Before you give up on Judy have a look in Quarker's store here in the MP.

Are you on a Mac?

Wish I knew more about Macs, but I hope you didn't overwrite your poser libraries.

On a PC a folder dropped on another only adds the files, but I hear on a Mac is overwrites the folder itself.

Hi... Well under the main libraties tab in P5 There's an option to "Add Runtime" so I assume it's just looking in my Metacrations/poser 4 directories... Everthing is still in P4 and only about half are in P5... I really don't get it... I'm considering just reinstalling ALL my everythings (characters, models, clothes, EVERYTHING!) but it'll be a pain in the butt & somewhat of a waste of hard-drive space as I don't want to get rid of P4! So any help would be great!! BTW... running XP Pro on an Athlon XP 2400 with a gig of ddrram! Hope that helps ! Thanks for the assistance and I hope you guys can help!! Later!! G

I haven't seen that problem before. Have you tried adding it again?
