I missed the first teaser but just wanted to compliment you because the packs look beautiful! Yet another "no-so-big-Koshini" person leaning towards her... ;)

Ya know, if you made a version of this set for Posette or Vicky 1/2 I would actually buy it. But I'm not gonna waste my money getting it for Koshini. I really WOULD use it if there was a Vicky/Posette version though. But not V3. I won't buy it for V3.

judith ( ) posted Fri, 08 August 2003 at 2:22 AM

These are beautiful. I wouldn't mind seeing this one for V2 myself.

I;d love that dress for V3!!.... its just awesome... I've alsways wanted a dress like that for Vickie... Its very beautiful, I don't really use Koshini all that much. Very well done on another gorgeous product!

fauve ( ) posted Fri, 08 August 2003 at 7:10 AM

It's possible to use the Koshini clothes with V2 and V3 characters -- I've done it. It involves a fair amount of tweaking and magnets, but for such beautiful dresses and textures, it's worth it. :-)

littlefox ( ) posted Fri, 08 August 2003 at 7:22 AM

Hmmms and peeks in... lots of request for V3 version of this one... I had almost thought that it was too stylistic to work on her (Huge bustle and so forth) But if folks are serious, I may see what can be done to get a V3 or 1/2 version out... Remember someone asking to do that not all that long ago.... let me check and see. Hugs.

Caly ( ) posted Fri, 08 August 2003 at 7:51 AM

I'd love to have this outfit for V3. As well as the adorable Ballerina one, and the Classic Elegance one... :) Some of the hairs as well... :)

judith ( ) posted Fri, 08 August 2003 at 8:41 AM

Well this is encouraging! I agree with Caly, the Ballerina, Classic Elegance and the romantic style hair would be my choices for Vicki conversion also.

I agree with Caly and judith, but then I am going to really go broke, still have not been able to buy the new stuff lol. Arrgghh what am I to do lol.

tonymouse ( ) posted Fri, 08 August 2003 at 10:43 AM

Hey how about a Victorian Gentlmans set for Ichiro compleat with coat and top hat??

sparrowheart ( ) posted Fri, 08 August 2003 at 12:26 PM

I would definitely buy these for any of the Victoria figures too. They are amazing dresses, and I love the Elizabethan collar! (Addendum: I would definitely buy these after the fifteenth of August. LOL. I am reduced to begging close friends for spare $5 dollar bills at this point, what with the DAZ sale and the overwhelming desire I suddenly have to buy Koshini too!!!!) You are a temptress, Lady Littlefox!

OMG that dress is just lovely

I second the request for the Victorian Gentleman's outfit - and what about an archeologist's outfit with pith helmet, Kahki jacket, those puffy-tuck-into-your-boots-pants? I've suddenly been blasted with all these visions of an 1890's story arc starring Kosh and Ichi. Anyone know where I can find a horse and buggy? : ) Rob

This is just a quickie, but it shows Victoria 3 wearing the Koshini "Lady of the Manor" dress, with one of the gorgeous "Immortal Beloved" textures. It's not that hard to get these clothes to fit either of the Victorias or Stephanie. (Or even the Pre-Teen Victoria.)

I used a few magnets to reshape the dress to less stylized proportions, then did a few scaling tweaks to V3. It fits pretty well almost everywhere (there were a few poke-throughs in places like the abdomen, but it was easy to just set those parts to invisible.)

Lady Littlefox, my compliments to you... your Koshini meshes are very well-modeled, and can handle being morphed and scaled without any tearing or creasing. Great work!

fauve ( ) posted Fri, 08 August 2003 at 5:52 PM

Oh, and she's got the Lady of the Manor hair on, too. Most Koshini hair fits all Vickis with just some scaling (I usually scale it down to about 50%, then increase the Z scale slightly.) And let me second the request for a Victorian gentleman or adventurer's outfit for Ichiro. :-) I'd grab that in a heartbeat!

sparrowheart ( ) posted Fri, 08 August 2003 at 6:32 PM

Fauve, this image should remove any doubt that Victoria was MADE to wear these dresses!! Unbelievably gorgeous. You did a fantastic job! Kimberly

KateTheShrew ( ) posted Fri, 08 August 2003 at 7:02 PM

that these dresses can be adapted for use with Vicky. Now, if I could just figure out how magnets work (and yes, I've read all the tutorials I can find and I still don't get magnets) or better yet, someone who already knows how to use them could adapt the set and make it a morph target or something (hint, hint)
