Subject: Poser 5 ---> Bryce 5 Problem

I occasionally export my Poser scenes to .obj files for use in Bryce 5. Often, when I do this I will import my figures in Bryce and everything is fine with the exception of the hair. This has only been a problem when using the dynamic hair. What will happen is the figure will have a skin-colored skullcap instead of the hair it had in Poser. Is there a tweak or maybe a trick involved in getting my hair to import properly in Bryce?

Dynamics don't export in any form useable to Bryce. Jess has a tut on how to fake the hair from Poser to Bryce, but bottom line, its not exportable because the dynamics (hair and clothing) are render time images, not mesh. Wish I could offer better. If you want hair in Bryce, stick with Koz stuff.

Thank you for the info! I couldn't find the tutorial you were referring to...do you have a link by chance?

the other option is to paint the hair with a tablet and a paint program but i haven't had the nerve to try that yet
