JASC is offering version 7 beta for download for free. Probably for a limited time. You'll have to register it to install, but dat's okay. This version, from what I'm told (I'm downloading it even as we speak, 29 megs, 75 megs disk space) this version has major improvememnts and additions. I'll keep my version 6, but from what I've read this version has some additions I've been wanting, including a new color pallatte system, new effects, new text handling features, photo editing features and more. Next to Photoshop this is my image editing program. I couldn't function without either one. Unfortunately, the beta is a time limited version, just to let people see the new version. It's still worth a look though, and more than worthwhile to buy the finished product

That's great news. Personally I hated the some of changes from 5 to 6 like the way the text was done, and have basically used 5 for doing items. So heres hoping 7 is magnificent. Doug Young WhiteCrow3D

yeah, I hate the text in 6 myself. The problems I have are that in order to apply effects to text you have to manually select the text and the apply effects. Reprtedly that's fixed in 7

Dr. Legume, (in his postition of awesome power & responsibility as moderator :-) has started a thread with reviews of PSP 7. You might want to check it out (in the PSP forum) & see if there's anything you can add.
