From some time now I am writing and illustrating of my version of Ereshkigal and Inanna. I have written the story-line several month ago -- but the illustration of the story just doesn't go so smoothly. I need inspiration for each image -- and when I already have the image in my head -- it takes me a lot of work till I got an image that I am satisfied with. Somehow the inspiration for the images do not come in a correct reading order :). So, I create those images as they come to my head. I already put into my gallery several images of that story -- so I thought it is time to put into my gallery a helping image -- that explains what is the correct reading order of my story. First I made a render -- where my daughter as if reading the finished story in her favorite reading pose. Then I took Gerald Day's wonderful Studio -- and scattered my story's thumbnails on the wall and on the floor -- in the correct reading order. I worked on that image quite a lot of time. I like my idea -- but I am not quite satisfied with the final image. But, I decided to upload it -- with the hope -- that you will help me to improve this image with your wonderful advises. Have a wonderful weekend. Enjoy the reading -- and advises are very very welcome. I would like to thank for all of you in advance for your help. Product credits: Gerald Day -- Studio, DAZ PT, DAZ PT cloths, PW book. Floor textured by me.

what catches me is that part of the image is grainy, another, blurry, and and then another more in focus.... try somthing like blurring everything but the pictures and making the pictures either grainy or more in focus... as it is, the pictures seem too composited with the rest of the image.... if thats the idea, exaggerate it more...

If I may be so bold; it appears as if the perspective is off for the added images. Your work has a nice homey feel to it that is incongruant with the off kilter placement of the art objects. I hope this helps, bob

Thank you very much for your feedbacks! I greatly appreciate them!!! First I would like to start to answer to aprilrosanina -- I think that reading pose keeps my daughter skinny and beautiful :)... and if you like that pose -- I think you are beautiful too! Onnetz-- now that I am reading your lines - I see how much you are right!!! When I was post-working on the image -- I wanted to accentuate the lights and shadows -- and didn't notice that I am working with different filters -- that altogher gave the impression of -- one part is grainy, another part is blurry, and and then another more in focus.... In the re-work of that image I will pay more attention for your comment!! Feldermaus -- yes you are sooo right too -- there is a problem with the perspective -- I know how to correct it on the wall -- but I do not know how to correct it on the floor. I mean -- if I want to keep that homey feel -- I do not want to touch the objects on the image. But if I do not touch the objects -- than I have to change the perspectives of the images on the floor. And if I change the perspectives of the pictures -- then the pictures will be very 'thin'. I'll will appreciate more feedback on that!!! Thanks.
