yes,,, some hills in the backround would probobly do good for this image. Your ground texture works suprisingly good. I have had some poor luck with photo grass textures... but I would maybe try to darken the ground a little. I don't know if the photo you used is really bright, or if you have the ambients way up. Either way, i think it should be darkened just a tad. Your trees are very well done :) I dont' know how you can render your ground with no antialiasing with out plop rendering or mask rendering. And judging by previous posts, I don't think its possible. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong. the link I gave you gives you the rules of the challenge (includes the dimension rules). And thats about all the info I'm good for ;) good luck, brholte (Benjamin Ross Holte)well, i kinda work with shortcuts alot, but it looks to me, with that picture as is now, just watch the AA line move across the screen, and when it get's to the ground, just click someplace to stop the render. the top will be AA'd and the ground won't...grins (actually wish that worked in reverse....AA the ground and not trees in some of mine...lol) Jen
I love the trees and the sky. I was hoping for a bit more bryce and a little less photo though. Doing a panorama render is a nice touch. I was thinking of doing a panorama landscape too, but I'm too busy building spaceships for OT to get to grips with the Treelab.
