Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 23 9:03 pm)
If you have Poser 4; I suggest going to Bushi's 3d web site. /he has a wonderful P4 nude woman with "Real Eyes" props that he created. It's a layered figure complete with iris, pupil, and cornea. The cornea appears convex the way it's supposed to be. Tip: If you use the extra large verision, render with shadows off. I won't use anything else for character creation now...I just started expirimenting with transplanting the Real Eye prop to the P4 nude man. I think it will work too. Casey Casey
You might also check the Freestuff for a contribution from momodot called "Moist Eyes". It is a smart prop which will parent to the P4 Fem's eye, and give it a specular sheen. The prop was easy to modify for use with the P4 Male. Momodot's props are also useful if you have an existing character created, where substituting in a new figure is not an option.
Paul - You're such a joker! grins I went and took a look (understandably curious) and I think it's really well done. You obviously but a ton of work into it. Kudos! I'd like to place a link on the Real Eyes page to the tutorial if that's OK with you. If you need to discuss this further I'm at bushi@spiritone.com.

Is there any good techniques for making more realistic eyes. More of a transparent look when rendered or does this need to be done in post?
